Madrid and Barcelona, Spain – The Spanish Field Hockey Federation (RFEH) and N3XT Sports today announce a new partnership which sees N3XT Sports support RFEH on the federation’s digital transformation. The partnership will encompass the creation and implementation of a digital-first approach across the organization, and the use of digital tools to transform the sport and the fan experience in Spain.
RFEH has already highlighted digital transformation as one of four strategic pillars for the national federation’s 2022-2030 Strategic Plan, which was presented and approved at the RFEH assembly earlier in the year.
RFEH aims to create new value for its ecosystem and grow the sport via the modernization and digitalization of its processes and operations. It will enable the federation to provide different services, products and tools to its regional federations, clubs and other key stakeholders, thereby becoming a “Federation As A Service”. By embarking on this journey, RFEH will ultimately position the players, fans, and coaches where they belong: at the center of the sport.
Llorenç Arnau, CEO of RFEH highlighted: “We have undertaken a significant step in our digital transformation by partnering with N3XT Sports, given their international expertise and successful business growth cases. We are committed to transforming and digitizing our entire organization to offer a product that better serves the entire ecosystem and to start understanding the field hockey fan through digital solutions and data, and with them by our side, we will move forward efficiently and effectively.”
By undertaking a digital transformation, RFEH will be able to guarantee a modern approach to the collaboration and communication between all the members of the Spanish hockey ecosystem. Furthermore, every player, coach, referee and fan invested in the sport will be presented with a modern, agile, and unique mobile experience. Meanwhile, the creation of a high-performance system will grant every RFEH player a 360º view of their individual performance and participation.
As part of the agreement, N3XT Sports will act as the outsourced Chief Technology Officer of the RFEH by identifying and implementing a new, integrated competition management system. N3XT Sports will also develop and implement a customer relationship management (CRM) system, and deliver the new high-performance system from conception through to implementation.
By taking this step forward, the RFEH will be able to achieve its digital objectives and help the federation to move forward with other strategic pillars.
Mounir Zok, CEO of N3XT Sports said: “We understand that digital transformation is critical to RFEH and they’ve taken the correct first step to include it as a strategic pillar. We will assist them in fulfilling their journey by leading and supporting their shift to become a digital and data-driven organization. The focus will be on bringing field hockey closer to the wider audience and to create modern digital tools for the players, referees, fans, and regional federations.”
