The fourth edition of the World Football Summit was hosted the 24th and 25th of September in Madrid. It was a two-day event that brought together more than 150 speakers, over 2,000 attendees from 100 different countries to discuss the trending topics of the football industry.
N3XT Sports, in collaboration with other organizations, hosted a panel about Innovation Strategies in Football, and a Football Innovation Workshop.
The panel about Innovation Strategies in Football was presented by the Football Innovation Forum with Jean-Baptiste Alliot from UEFA, Daniele Gonteri from Genius Sports, Minerva Santana from LaLiga, Sander van Stiphout from Johan Cruyff Arena, and N3XT Sports CEO, Mounir Zok as the guest speakers.
Each guest speaker shared the innovation strategy of their organization and talked about the importance of anticipating the need, working with partners to bring more value to the ecosystem, aligning the innovation strategy with the corporate strategy, and cross-pollinating the opportunities from one sport to the others.

The Football Innovation Workshop was hosted by Mounir Zok, CEO at N3XT Sports, Jean-Baptiste Alliot, Innovation Strategy Specialist at UEFA, and Allan Smith, Lab Manager at Area 404 Facebook.
Among other learnings, the attendees had the chance to gain a better understanding of what an innovation strategy looks like for football organizations, how to approach innovation in the right way and how to develop their stakeholder ecosystem.
It was a great two-day event where N3XT Sports had a chance to share its knowledge and expertise, gain some more, and develop the football innovation ecosystem.
